Base Building and Kingdom Building LitRPG

Prices and ratings refreshed Oct 24, 2026. Curated Oct 24, 2026.

Base building is LitRPG for people who played the management screen as much as the combat. The protagonist claims ground, recruits, builds and defends, and the numbers that go up belong to a place as much as a person. Kingdom building is the same impulse at a larger scale.

Ordered from settlement-scale to nation-scale. Crafting-heavy series that build a workshop rather than a wall are here too, because their readers overlap almost completely.
